Ladies Society

Our Ladies Society meets approximately six times per year for fellowship, devotions, and to possibly plan service projects or purchase something for the church. They usually meet at 1:00 PM on the second Wednesday of the months of September, November, December (Christmas Party outing), February, April and May. They do fundraisers such as bake sales, white elephant sales, or selling items such as all-occasion cards, knives and other miscellaneous wares.

The Ladies Society members also represent our church at special events with the Lutheran Women's Missionary Society (LWML), and work to obtain matching funds from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans when the congregation has various fundraisers throughout the year.

The Women's Bible Brunch Bunch meets the third Saturday of the month, Sept thru May and has some bible study/devotion time, light breakfast, and organizes mission projects.

Our first meeting of the season will be Saturday, September 20 at 10:00 a.m. (notice the time change). This will be a planning meeting. Please sign up on the sheet and let me know how you are willing to help this year.. Check if you would be willing to provide refreshments, find and/or participate in service projects, lead Bible study, music, make phone calls,. provide rides if needed. We approved a donation of 20 backpacks for the Back To School project for students who live in Arbors at Hickory Creek subdivision (right down the street off Cicero Avenue). We also provided 15 boxes of crayons that were still needed. It was another opportunity to serve our community.
