School Board adds Second Grade

The School Board of Immanuel Crossroads School has voted to add 2nd Grade for the 2011/12 School Year! For information, call the school Director at 708-748-0558.

Call the school at 708-748-0558 to schedule an appointment for a tour of our facillity. If you register for the 2011-2012 School Year during our Immanuelfest on August 13th, you will save $20 off the Registration Fee. We will also be doing a Scholastic Book Fair that day from 8 AM to 4 PM. Funds raised will help purchase books for our Library and Classrooms.

Mission Statement

Crossroads is a Mission Outreach of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Richton Park, Illinois. Under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the goal of Crossroads is to nurture the spiritual, emotional, social, mental, and physical development of children through quality Christian education.

Philosophy

Immanuel Lutheran Crossroads Preschool has been established to provide a caring and Christian environment for young children. As it states in the Bible, "Let the little children come to me." Matthew 19:14. Young children and their spiritual development are the most important reason for our existence. Because each child is unique and has been blessed with different talents and abilities by God, our goal is to provide the children with a variety of experiences that will help develop their spiritual, emotional, social, mental, physical, and cognitive growth. Young children do learn through a variety of experiences which we offer at Immanuel Lutheran Crossroads Preschool. The caring staff provides a balance between play and structured activities. Jesus Time, art, music and movement, play, reading, social time, math, and science are all ways by which we provide the children to experience growth.

Admission Policy

To be eligible for the 3 year old program, your child must be 3 years old and completely toilet-trained. Children in the 3 year old program will not be allowed to advance into the 4 year old program in the middle of the year. To be eligible for the 4 year old program, your child must be 4 years old and completely toilet-trained. Children in the Kindergarten program must be 5 years old on or before September 1st of the current school year. All children must be toilet-trained before being accepted into any of these programs.

Days and Hours of Operation

Immanuel Lutheran Crossroads Preschool operates from the first Tuesday after Labor Day until the end of May.
The 3 year old program options include:
Monday thru Friday (Mornings) from 8:30 am - 11:30 am
Monday thru Friday (Full Day) from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

The 4 year old program options include
Monday thru Friday (Mornings) from 8:30 am - 11:30 am
Monday thru Friday (Full Day) from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Grade:
Monday - Friday (Full Day) from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

Note: After School Care is available, for an additional fee, and runs 7:00-8:30 am and 3:00-6:00 pm.
